Project 365: Day 73 – Money

by matt on May 3, 2010

Stacks of shiny quartersMoney.  Everyone wants it.  Everyone thinks about it.  Everyone is trying to get more of it.  We equate our time with money.  We even sacrifice our lives for money.

I wrote a blog post about how the small purchases in our life, the kind that stay off our radar screen, can really add up.  I hope you get a chance to check it out.  It’s called The Little Things Add Up: How To Save Money.  It might end up saving you some money and allow you to reach your dreams, whatever they might be.

For this shot I stacked quarters in three stacks.  I used a single Canon 580EXII flash on 1/128th power and a paper snoot to direct the light.  The flash was directly camera right and above and angled down toward the stacks of quarters.  The camera settings are below.

Canon 5DII | Tamron 28-75 | f/8 | 1/125th sec. | ISO 100
