Today was one of those days when I just didn’t have a clue what my daily photo would be and frankly I didn’t have much motivation. On days like this I typically ramble around the house peeking into cupboards and closets to hopefully have something jump out at me and scream “photo op!!” Well tonight that “something” was an old picnic basket.
For this image I used a single flash in a Lumiquest Softbox III and my Canon 17-40 f/4L wide angle lens. Even without the motivation I like the way this one turned out. This old basket has some character.
One lesson to take from this is that we all have days when our drive is gone and we feel unmotivated. The thing to do during times like that is to plow through them. Persevere through the trying times and you will discover the great things you can do.
