Every day (weather permitting) I like to take a walk during my lunch hour. It’s nice that my office is close to a bike path that meanders along the Willamette River. Along the path today I saw a large flock of Western Tanagers eating the berries of some ivy vines. Beautiful birds but much to quick to capture with my little Canon S90 point and shoot.
On my way back to the office I got cut off by a freight train that had stopped in the middle of the intersection. I glanced up and came face to face with this character on the side of a boxcar. He seemed to be telling me “This Way!” Not one to ignore a suggestion I went that way.

Thanks Mark! I’m trying to plan my lunch walks so I’m down by the tracks again. I’ve been noticing lots of cool art on these trains that pass by.
